How to Join PPRG

Main content start

PPRG is always open to adding members to our team. Below are descriptions of how to join:

Scholars with PhDs:

PPRG welcomes applications from researchers who would like to be visiting scholars at Stanford to work directly on issues of central interest to PPRG with members of our team. Scholars with their own funding to allow for such collaboration are welcome to contact Professor Krosnick (krosnick@stanford.edu) to make a proposal.

PPRG does not have access to funding to welcome post-docs at all times, but funds are sometimes available through competitions held on campus. Scholars who will soon complete their PhD work and are interested in a postdoc with PPRG are invited to contact Professor Krosnick (krosnick@stanford.edu) to express interest and learn whether any opportunities exist to apply for post-doc funding.

Stanford Undergraduates:

Stanford undergraduates interested in working with PPRG during the academic year or the summer are welcomed to email Professor Krosnick (krosnick@stanford.edu) to express interest. PPRG requires 15 hours of work per week during Fall, Winter, or Spring quarter, or 40 hours per week during the summer. Please attach an unofficial Stanford transcript, an updated resume, and a writing sample to your inquiry email.

Also, please answer these questions in your email:

Do the three words “Federal Work Study” appear on your financial aid page in Axess?

Would you be open to enrolling for 5 units of independent reading/research course credit for your work with PPRG?

Undergraduates or high school students not at Stanford:

Unfortunately, PPRG cannot welcome undergraduates or high school students who are not enrolled at Stanford to be involved in PPRG activities. But we encourage you to apply for admission to Stanford as a student, so we can consider your application if you are accepted.
